(RightWing.org) – The United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York (SDNY) has had it out for President Donald Trump for a long time. Notoriously independent, prosecutors there began targeting the president’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, in October 2019, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal.
That revelation coincided with Democratic efforts to create a case for impeachment against the president. Conventional wisdom at the time said the SDNY targeted Giuliani as part of an overall effort to get to Trump.
Attorney General Barr did a commendable job of running interference for the administration, setting the record straight about the Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s witchhunt and doing his best to rein in the SDNY.
However, with Barr’s assumed departure from Washington this week, news portals are reporting operatives within the SDNY are attempting to gain access to Giuliani’s electronic communications.
I’m proud to be number one on Biden Vindictive government list.
Sounds like the DOJ anti-Trumpers can't wait for Biden to make DOJ the GOVERNMENT Secret Police like they were under Obama.
They want to seize my emails.

It remains unclear what they hope to find. Giuliani tweeted he thought Democratic candidate Joe Biden’s “anti-Trumpers” in the DOJ were targeting him for no reason. He concluded his remarks by raising the issues of attorney-client privilege.
