(RightWing.org) – President Joe Biden has been carrying on about giving Americans a third COVID-19 booster shot in the wake of the rise of the highly contagious Delta variant. However, like all too many of his other promises, it appears he can’t deliver.
As one might come to expect by now, Biden went rogue and pushed the idea of booster shots without first speaking to Food and Drug Administration (FDA) officials, prompting at least two FDA officials to resign.
Two top FDA officials resigned over the Biden Admin’s booster-shot plan, saying it insisted on the policy before the agency approved it.
They are pushing for policy that is not supported by the data, proving it’s about an agenda, not the science.https://t.co/tpZgX8u8hm

On Friday, September 17, an FDA advisory panel voted against providing a third booster shot to everyone by an overwhelming margin. However, it did recommend approval of the boosters to individuals with preexisting conditions and people over 65 years of age. The panel also recommended including people in high-risk vocations like healthcare workers and educators.
White House spokesperson Kevin Munoz praised the panel’s decision, claiming it provided “an important step forward” towards reducing the number of COVID-19 infections. However, he somehow managed to forget to say anything about excluding most Americans from the recommendation.
Biden administration officials expect the FDA to make a formal decision on boosters sometime soon, as the advisory panel’s findings aren’t binding.
Will the White House step back and allow the FDA to follow the science and adopt the panel’s overwhelming decision not to make the third booster shots available to everyone, or will it intervene for political reasons?
