
President Trump has done a great deal for Christian Evangelicals since he’s taken office. Outsiders, like Democrats, are trying to convince the American public of the complete opposite to further their own agenda. Still, the truth remains that Trump is a true Christian who cares about his country.
However, Trump received scathing criticism from an op-ed piece in Christianity Today. In it, Mark Galli, editor-in-chief, published an article calling for Trump to be removed from office. He wrote:
“Whether Mr. Trump should be removed from office by the Senate or by popular vote next election — that is a matter of prudential judgment. That he should be removed, we believe, is not a matter of partisan loyalties but loyalty to the Creator of the Ten Commandments.”
After acknowledging that “Democrats have had it out for [Trump] from day one,” Mark continued:
“The reason many are not shocked about this is that this president has dumbed down the idea of morality in this administration.”
After witnessing this harsh criticism from one of his fellow Evangelicals, President Trump vented on Twitter.
