(RightWing.org) – Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden may have prematurely declared himself the winner of the 2020 presidential elections but not everyone is jumping on the bandwagon.
Infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci says he plans to continue working for President Trump’s White House Coronavirus Task Force.
Dr. Fauci said he hadn’t spoken with representatives for the Biden campaign during a November 12 interview with Thomson Reuters, telling them, “I stay in my lane.” Continuing, Dr. Fauci added there’s no reason for him to make any changes in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr. Anthony Fauci said he hasn’t had contact with President-elect Biden’s coronavirus transition team and sees no reason to quit and join that effort when there is so much to do to fight COVID-19 right now https://t.co/1HUCu2Qsic pic.twitter.com/4JnxRsFwj4

Biden erroneously declared himself the winner of the election over the weekend and announced the doctors and medical experts comprising his so-called coronavirus task force on Monday, November 9.
Dr. Fauci did state that if he was to advise Biden, he would stick to his current recommendations, which include wearing masks, maintaining social distance, washing hands, and avoiding crowds.
Any mention of a lockdown is noticeably absent from Dr. Fauci’s recommendations, making his action plan consistent with that of President Trump. On the flip-side, Biden has consistently expressed his willingness to shut down the nation’s economy to halt the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
