DNC Debate #9: Bloomberg's Debut

(RightWing.org) – Last night’s debate took place in Nevada and, oh boy, it was a fiasco to behold.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) kicked off the night by attacking Michael Bloomberg, accusing him of calling women “fat broads and horse-faced lesbians.” This was only the beginning of the night-long assault on Bloomberg where everyone took a chance to strike at him. The billionaire was attacked over multiple instances of sexism, including in his workplace, and over his defense of the “Stop and Frisk” laws that were eventually overturned in New York City.

At some point during the night, Bloomberg explained to Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) that capitalism is the only way to solve our problems. He mentioned that other countries have tried other forms of governance, like communism, and failed. Sanders fought back against Bloomberg over this capitalism vs. socialism debate and Joe Biden even jumped in on the conversation.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and Pete Buttigieg duked it out a few times to try and stand out, but overall it seemed like Warren had the best performance of the night.

Whatever your opinions are on these candidates, the drama from last night sure was a treat to witness!
