(RightWing.org) – Last week, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) politicized future aid for Americans. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) called for an unexpected Senate meeting to discuss a $250 billion package to help small businesses. Pelosi and Schumer encouraged Senate Democrats to push to add more measures to the interim bill, which ultimately stagnated and went nowhere.
Even though that additional small business aid is stalled, the Democratic duo is still at it. Schumer and Pelosi are doubling down on demands to add more to the interim bill. Pelosi even made it a point over the weekend.
On a bipartisan basis, governors are crying out for help and Congress must act. Democrats will continue to push for urgently needed funds for state and local governments in the interim emergency bill and #CARES2. #FamiliesFirst

The two Democrat leaders want to spend even more money on top of the Phase 4 stimulus package currently in the works. Pelosi and Schumer have said that the aid can’t wait, but here they are delaying it. If you’re looking for someone to blame when small businesses close their doors because Congress couldn’t come to an agreement, blame the Democrats.
