(RightWing.org) – President Joe Biden’s polling figures continue falling through the floor. A recent Quinnipiac University poll showed his approval rating at a paltry 33%. Former Bill Clinton and Michael Bloomberg political strategist and pollster Douglas Shoen recently discussed Hillary Clinton’s viability as the Democrats’ 2024 nominee.
On Tuesday, January 11, Schoen published an op-ed in The Wall Street Journal discussing Hillary Clinton’s potential comeback. Co-written with former New York City Council president and state assemblyman Andrew Stein, the piece affirmatively declared Clinton the Democrats’ best option for 2024.
The two men cited Biden’s cratering approval numbers, Vice President Kamala Harris’ rising unpopularity, and Biden’s advancing age as reasons for a Clinton return to the national political stage.
Crooked in the bullpen!!!
“Hillary Clinton’s 2024 Election Comeback”
Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have become unpopular. It may be time for a change candidate. https://t.co/D8r1DuGU9n

With Democrats expected to suffer stinging defeats in the upcoming midterm elections, Schoen and Stein wrote that Clinton could sweep in as the “change candidate” nominee after the party loses both congressional chambers.
Schoen followed up on his op-ed with Fox News host Laura Ingraham on January 12. Asked about a possible Clinton run in 2024, Schoen said he thought a rematch between Hillary and former President Donald Trump was “more likely today” than anyone “would have ever imagined.”
Schoen also restated his belief that Clinton represents the “only viable” presidential candidate for Democrats due to their assumed “historic midterm defeat.”
What do you think? Would Trump beat Clinton by even more than he did in 2016?
