(RightWing.org) – Drug dealers are always looking for a way to get their product moved and sold. Recently, a new smuggling tunnel, located in Arizona, was found running under the US-Mexico border.
The tunnel, according to a Customs and Border Protection official, extended about 25 feet into Nogales, Arizona. No arrests were immediately made in connection with the tunnel, an official confirmed to ABC News. https://t.co/WhAEVwmaIu

This new tunnel is far from the biggest one ever found, though. At about 30 feet in length, it’s actually among the smaller. The longest smuggling tunnel found to date spans 4,309 feet and was chock full of electrical infrastructure, a cart system, and air ventilation. It was discovered in October of 2019.
So far, no arrests have been made in connection with the latest tunnel. While drug trafficking tunnels aren’t a new phenomenon, this new discovery came from a renewed effort to crack down on smugglers. Border Patrol officials are coordinating with the Mexican government with this investigation.
