(RightWing.org) – President Trump just signed an $8.3 billion stimulus package this week. This is on top of the other measures he passed last week. So far, Trump is doing a great job at addressing this crisis.
However, we may have to give most of the credit to Republican senators for another $1 trillion plan that will further help America get back on its feet.
PLAYBOOK PM is out — sorry for the delay
MITCH MCCONNELL has firmly planted his right foot on the accelerator pedal this AM, attempting to move at mach speed to negotiate and pass a massive stimulus bill by Mon — which, if accomplished, would be a herculean legislative feat.

Senate Republicans came up with a new proposal put forth on Thursday that will give essential aid to businesses and the public. The act is called the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act. While negotiations will take place with Democrats, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) thinks that cutting Dems out of the discussion could help speed things along.
McConnell’s logic is that Republicans control the Senate. Democrats can still react to whatever Republican senators propose, and bills will still go through democratic processes but, he thinks the act of drafting proposals would be better if it were done by the Senate Republican majority.
Do you think Senate Republicans should favor speed over bipartisan negotiations and compromise?
