Remember the last time California attempted to build a high-speed rail train? Here’s a quick refresher: the train from Los Angeles to San Francisco was never fully completed while the estimated costs piled up to $77 billion or more. They ended up with a half-finished line to the tune of around $12 billion.
Waste of money. California's high speed rail from LA to SF had cost overruns estimated at $60-100 Billion! They had to abandon the project and are settling on a $12+ Billion train to nowhere (only 170 miles from Merced to Bakersfield). An absolute boondoggle.

Apparently, the Dem state thinks they can make round two work with only $4 billion.
California’s newest high-speed train will run from Victor Valley to Las Vegas. The private train will supposedly travel at 150 miles per hour and take about 90 minutes each way. Who wants to take bets on how much THIS train will cost? Let us know in the comments!
