(RightWing.org) – John Bolton’s new book throws yet another distraction into the president’s impeachment trial.
Reportedly, in Bolton’s book “The Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir,” he specifically claims that Trump’s withholding of financial aid to Ukraine was dependent upon a pending investigation of Joe and Hunter Biden.
The New York Times broke this story and released an excerpt from Bolton’s upcoming book set to release in March. It went to pre-order on Amazon as this story was released.
Some are claiming that this is a publicity stunt to turn this book into a bestseller.
Those publicists don’t miss a trick. https://t.co/NBNrlzzjNE

Amazing how this happened immediately after The New York Times ran their story, almost like it was coordinated to promote book sales!

Others, like Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), are using this opportunity to force witnesses to testify in the impeachment trial.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer: "We want Bolton. We want Mulvaney. They heard from the president himself. We can solve Mr. Sekulow's problem of not having witnesses who heard from the president himself by having Bolton, by having Mulvaney…" https://t.co/bvAUwIySc2 pic.twitter.com/vNOZTgQ7Dm

It remains unclear whether or not witnesses will testify on the Senate floor. A vote still needs to be held and Republicans may not vote in favor of bringing in witnesses. Whatever happens, Bolton’s newfound fame may shake up the impeachment process throughout the week.
We’ll keep you posted.
