(RightWing.org) – Joe Biden has been quickly slipping in the polls after some of the most recent DNC presidential debates. With South Carolina’s primary this weekend and Super Tuesday on the horizon, it’s entirely possible that the former vice president will no longer be a viable candidate after the votes are tallied up. Biden’s last hope is to hold onto his stronghold in South Carolina, where he holds a nearly 12-point lead over Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT).
Now it seems Biden may have just fully secured South Carolina with his most recent endorsement from Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC).
Jim Clyburn is a voice of powerful moral clarity that is heard loud and clear across this country — in our capital and beyond. He reminds us why we’re in public service in the first place — and I’m proud to have his support. pic.twitter.com/6Lh970vjYu

Clyburn has stated that he knew who he was going to support for a long time but held that information close to the chest. Clyburn also said that he doesn’t believe South Carolinians are ready for a socialist like Bernie. With this newfound support, Biden might be able to solidify his position just enough to hold South Carolina and go into Super Tuesday with a fighting chance.
