Biden Administration Has Ties to Blacklisted Tech Company

(RightWing.org) – When one thinks of scandals and the Bidens, it’s typically Hunter’s name that comes to mind. However, this time, an explosive new exposé implicates a Democratic operative with ties to the Biden administration in a potential scandal involving a tech company.

On Thursday, March 17, Washington Examiner published a detailed report discussing Steven Rabinowitz’s ties to NSO Group, a tech company that develops software systems to monitor individuals’ smartphone communications covertly. Rabinowitz reportedly provides government liaison services for the company as president and co-founder of Bluelight Strategies, a media relations and digital marketing company.

Foreign governments have allegedly used the NSO Group’s Pegasus software system to target journalists like murdered Saudi Arabian dissident and Washington Post contributor Jamal Khashoggi. State actors have also used the software to target US diplomats, human rights activists, and other opponents.

According to the Washington Examiner, a list of potential targets of NSO clients includes notables like French President Emmanuel Macron and Robert Malley, President Joe Biden’s US envoy for Iran. The allegations led the Biden administration to blacklist NSO Group.

Rabinowitz’s ties to leading Democrats span decades. He worked as a White House press aide for former President Bill Clinton and led his 1992 re-election campaign’s press advance team. He also worked on the presidential campaigns for Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Joe Biden.
