Biden Admin Continues To Release Migrants Into Border Communities

( – Now-Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) posted a video on his official YouTube channel titled “Candidate Biden Calls On Illegal Immigrants to Surge the Border.” It’s from a debate during the 2020 Democratic Party primaries on March 19, 2021. Many immigrants took his statement as an open invitation to flood across the country’s southern border.

The administration’s position over the past two years has created an unimaginable humanitarian disaster spanning the distance from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific Ocean. The way President Biden has directed his Department of Justice (DOJ), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the State Department to handle the influx has created a flood of illegal aliens that has not ebbed to this day and is about to get worse.

As people come marching up to and across the border, the men and women of the United States Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) have been hard-pressed during the Biden administration to control the situation — much more so than they had been under that of former President Donald Trump. According to the agency website accessed on May 1, 2023, there were 405,036 “encounters” for the fiscal year that ended October 1, 2020.That number jumped to 2,214,652 in fiscal year 2022, which is nearly a 550% increase.

According to an April 17 article on the Center for Immigration Studies webpage, their number-crunching shows “at least 2,020,522” illegal immigrants have been released into the interior of the country under Biden, plus “1,373,155 others who have evaded Border Patrol agents.” A Breitbart exclusive paints a picture of abandonment once those folks are set loose in border towns like Brownsville, Texas, which seems to leave them with as much doubt and uncertainty as they had before they crossed the border.

The author of the Breitbart article interviewed a woman identified as Daniela from Caracas, Venezuela, who was sitting on a bus bench hoping to find her way to “distant relatives” living in Naples, Florida. Somehow, it appears the solution Biden is providing for this 29-year-old woman and her son is to let them cross into America with enough money for one night in a hotel with no way to get to her family, leaving the mother with the prospect of sleeping on the street. But, hey, it’s Texas where it’s warm, which is ironically cold comfort for her.

The story also tells of some of the illegals showing off smartphones provided by the DHS that allow them to interact with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) as part of the Alternatives to Detention Program (ATD) in regard to their location and possible court dates. However, many, like another interviewee by the name of Miguel, were given instructions to report to ICE someplace, at some time, with no indication as to where or when that might be.
