Fallout Bunkers for the Very Rich — Preparing for Apocalypse
(RightWing.org) – There’s nothing secret about the trappings surrounding the luxurious lifestyles of the wealthy and famous. Up until now, their money hasn’t been able to fully protect them from a host of disasters, natural and manmade. In response to the need, a Czech Republic company recently unveiled its latest line of extravagant bunkers for the apocalypse, but you better have a lot of money if you plan on purchasing one.
In late 2015, Czech entrepreneur Jakub Zamrazil created the Oppidum company with a single luxury bunker located beneath a 323,000-square-foot mansion outside Prague, Czech Republic. Marketed to the world’s wealthiest elite, a promotional video for the fully self-sufficient facility promised to protect prospective tenants from the ravages of global war, chemical and biological threats, natural disasters, worldwide anarchy, and other personal threats for up to a decade.
Oppidum recently announced its new L’Heritage bunkers. Designed by noted French architect Marc Prigent, these fortified underground residences feature a minimum of 10,000 square feet of living space, approximately 16-foot ceilings, hand-crafted chandeliers, custom-designed furniture, and solid wood flooring.
Residents must use a “multi-biometric reader” featuring facial, iris, palm, and fingerprint scans to pass through the bunker’s custom-made blast doors. Once inside, they can enjoy a massive family room, garden, home cinema, pool and fitness center among the residence’s many luxurious furnishings.
Don’t expect to see a price if you visit the company’s website. You will have to fill out a form at the bottom of the homepage to receive information about planning and purchasing your Oppidum L’Heritage bunker.
