(RightWing.org) – The far-left is at it again. It appears they are more interested in protecting illegal gang members than the US citizens that could become their victims. According to US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), more than 10,000 gang members were arrested at the southern border from October 2017 to September 2018. They were involved in numerous illegal activities from human trafficking, prostitution, drugs, and other crimes.
On Monday, May 17, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and 34 far-left Democrats wrote immigration officials a scathing letter despite the dangers gangs pose. They demanded immigration policies towards gang members be changed. Worse still, they tried to protect the gangs by cloaking it in racial language similar to BLM-style rhetoric.
AOC Injects BLM Rhetoric
The letter was written to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and ICE Director Tae D. Johnson. In it, the leftists parroted BLM rhetoric claiming the United States is facing a “racial reckoning” as communities allegedly call for an end to “racist policing” and mass incarcerations. In the final paragraph, AOC alleges that ICE is racially profiling to determine if someone crossing the border is involved in a gang or not.

By combining the BLM agenda with illegal immigration and deportation of gang members, AOC and her leftist bandits are working overtime to intimidate DHS. What other purpose could there be to include such inflammatory language?
The real question is, why are these Democrats trying to protect gang members who harm others and are a clear threat to the United States? It’s a known tactic for gang members to blend in with migrants.
So, the Left wants to stop all actions that would prevent serious bad people from entering the country. However, is that what the majority of Americans want?
How Does ICE Profile Illegal Immigrants to Determine if Someone’s in a Gang?
Hello! Yes, DHS is profiling illegal immigrants to determine if someone is in a gang or not. How else can it be done?
According to ICE, the government identifies gang members by determining if an individual is in a federal law enforcement database, through personal interviews, and information from other law enforcement agencies at the federal, state, and local levels.
By injecting BLM rhetoric, AOC and the 34 Democrats who signed the letter demonstrate they are more concerned with protecting illegal gang members who are dangerous to society than protecting innocent American lives.
Illegal immigration was one of the reasons that Donald Trump won in 2016. The Left’s radical language and actions could also be motivating factors for voters to return common sense to Congress in 2022 and the White House in 2024.
In the meantime, don’t expect the insanity to stop anytime soon.
