(RightWing.org) – Earlier this week, the Supreme Court ruled the federal government can continue deporting immigrants who are eligible for expedited removal. The news was another win for the Trump Administration in their fight to keep illegal aliens from flooding our country. And it turns out more new illegals are being deported than detained.
On June 25, Acting Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Commissioner Mark Morgan testified that 95% of illegals who are entering the country qualify for fast-tracked deportation. He went on to tell the House Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee that since the department put expedited removal in place to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, CBP has seen the number of people who “illegally enter our country drop by more than 50%” compared to before the outbreak.
Morgan also said there’s an average of 200 aliens in custody on any given day, compared to 20,000 during the 2019 border crisis. On Twitter, the acting commissioner praised President Trump for his work on the border wall.
We must have the ability to know who and what is coming across our borders. It’s common sense. The border wall system strengthens @CBP’s ability to protect our country’s national and economic security. pic.twitter.com/GLCffKG1vj

It’s clear the Trump administration knows how to stem the flow of illegals in the country. They’ve been doing an impressive job and it looks like they don’t plan to slow down.
